Housed in a grand old building with a large clock tower and steeple, the splendid scents and colors of this market attract you as soon as you walk through the door. The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Market, more often known as the Crawford Market, is primarily a wholesale trade that sells fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables and other treats, all under one roof. The architecture of the building is just as beautiful as the products within it, with several outer friezes and a stone fountain.
