Assisting with activities in the communities of adults and seniors this week, called the “Week of Health ” has been a positive and informative experience.

It is incredible what Social Services do to help the senior population, they’re improving quality of life by providing important information and talking to older people about topics such as polypharmacy, illnesses in the aging, mental health and how to prevent illnesses and minor accents like falls in the home.

I have also been very much impressed by the social activities they run, such as exercise and and kitchen courses and embroidery lessons.

I’m very honoured and pleased to have known these kind grandpa and grandmas.

Haciendo Servicio Social en Guanajuato

Asisitir a las actividades en las comunidades de adultos y personas mayores esta semana, llamada la “semana de la salud” ha sido una experiencia positiva e informativa.

Es increíble lo que hacen para informar y ayudar a los adultos mayores con pláticas sobre temas importantes como polifarmacia, enfermedades en el envejecimiento, salud mental y prevención de caídas y enfermedades.

Además me han impresionado mucho las actividades sociales como “Práctica de activación física” y cursos de cocina y bordar.

Celebro haber conocido estos abuelitos y abuelitas tan amables.
